Set against the concrete walls and graffiti-covered exteriors of Toe Jam Backlot, this year’s Miami Music Week event called for visuals that felt just as unique as the venue itself. Known for its eclectic charm — from scattered vintage objects to colorful installations and curated chaos — the space offers a sensory experience that goes beyond the music.
The challenge was creating a visual identity that honored the venue’s raw backdrop while also standing out from it — something that could invite rather than blend in. The concept leaned into contrast: layered compositions, key objects pulled straight from the venue’s decor, and a playful mix of texture and color that mirrored Toe Jam’s curated eccentricity.
What came together was a series of designs that felt immersive and unexpected — just like the space. A visual handshake that said: you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
